What is Creative Writing Club?

Bloomsburg High School Creative Writing Club is dedicated to the future authors of the school who want to expand on their writing talents. This club is available to students of all writing abilities; whether you just want to get better at writing, or you want to get something published one day. The club is supervised by Colleen Schultz, the ninth grade English teacher. The club meets every Wednesday from 2:45 to 3:30. If anyone as any additional questions about the club, they can contact Colleen Schultz's email: cschultz@bloomsd.k12.pa.us

Some more things about the club that should be mentioned is that in the beginning of the year we start the club by discussing theme, and reading our old writing pieces. We continue through the year going over theme, character development, and overall being a better writer. The club is a safe space where anyone can read old or new writing pieces aloud, and other members can give their constructive criticism. This way, your writing will improve faster and better. If you want to join, feel free to join our remind, or come to one of our meetings, to learn more about our meetings,  go to the Contact Page.
